St.John's point lighthouse over looking the Irish sea and Dundrum bay in County Down, Ireland.

I was so focussed on the alignment and composition that I didn't notice (until later) the man looking at the misty Mourne mountains across the bay but he makes the photo.

It looks good in colour but I prefer the atmosphere in B&W. It was my first time here and it was beautiful, only 1 hour drive from the horrible city!

It works beautifully. Fine shot. You should x-post in the lighthouses thread: Lighthouses - PentaxForums.com

Des it wouldn't allow me to post the B&W version (the same file) above so I posted the colour version there instead.

Kinnagoe Bay, Donegal, Atlantic Ocean before dusk

This one from the long trek back to the car to get more supplies on my wild camping trip back in August. The Perseid meteor shower was occuring later in this remote dark sky area but it rained heavily every night with completely overcast cloud.

The wreck of the Armada ship La Trinidad Valencera lies just off the beach after hitting jagged rocks on 16 September 1588.

Bi-colour filter added and processed in LR and Color Efex.

Spectacular photography, worthy of the lens's reputation.

St.John's Point, Dundrum Bay and Mourne Mountains, County Down, Ireland

This is where the lighthouse previous still shines it's beams across the Irish sea and Dundrum Bay with the Mourne mountains across the bay to the south.

Ps: I watched a review by Matt Granger of the Fujifilm GFX medium format on YouTube earlier. With sun in the frame the Fuji lens produced a horrible amount of flare which for me makes it a show stopper as I hate flare. So for me a K-70 with HD DA15 f4 wins hands down for the type of shot here at a fraction of the cost.

Psss the HD DA 20-40 Limited is equally as flare resistant so sometimes you just got to love Pentax gear.

Fuji can keep their 500 AF points

I was deliberately inducing flare here but thought the results were much worse than I was hoping for. Converting to B&W and messing around a little gave me a result I think is OK.
