Wonderful shot!

What a lens! Have had mine for years. Took a quick walk around the house this morning - the D-FA WR is not just for Macros!

D-FA 100mm F2.8 WR Macro on K-5 IIs

I just added the WR version of the 100mm macro to my collection and this was my first outing with it. I had the non-WR version but the reviews indicated that this one will give me better IQ. The main thing was that I wanted to have the WR version to go with my 18-135 WR and my 55-300 WR.

My first impressions with the new lens are very good, very sharp and solid feel.

Wow! That is a very interesting plant! What is it? I love the color and the contrast here. Also your shooting angle.
