K3 + 100wr

It was taken a few minutes after this photo. That one was taken via FA 50 macro. I went out with 2 of my sharpest prime that day. In fact doing urban landscape with short telephoto lens is a guarantee interesting result but only if I can get up a bit higher than street level.

I bet you could really pump up those colours. What did it look like in real life?

For 10 years I played baseball every Wednesday night at Ashbridges Bay.

D-FA 100mm f/2.8 WR on the *istDS. Yes, the K-1 is the better camera, but the *istDS is the only DSLR I have which can use the AF080C ringflash in full analogue TTL mode. Here we see it in the role for which the 100WR is best suited - slimy things that creep and hop.

I got gussied up for an event tonight so I took some before and after makeup/hair selfies with the DFA 100. No blemish correction in post, just good ol' fashioned painting-the-crap-out-of-my-face. I was excited about getting dressed up since my job often involves hiking while carrying heavy survey equipment and digging in the dirt so I'm typically fairly frumpy. It's also been ages since I've used off-camera flash so this was all around a fun exercise.

That just-rolled-out-of-bed look:

Dfa 28-105

Took my 28-105 and Irix 15 to Portugal for a vacation. Got to say the 28-105 is a dynamite lens. Not the fastest lens out there but lots of color and love the rendering. I'll be posting a few from the trip as I start to process them. Here are a few from lisbon evening skies.
