Well...there goes the prices on all things Vivitar...now I guess I will never find a good cheap Viv 28mm...

Nah, there are so many of them I think you can still find a good deal out there. And if anything skyrocketed the Viv 28 market, it was Robin's thread

Of all the lenses I've sold (and I've sold many), this is the only one I still regret selling. If anyone is thinking of letting theirs go, let me know!

Vivitar (Komine) 200mm f 3.5--a superb performer, especially on the K20's C-mos sensor where blooming is a non-issue. I just sold it; it is becoming increasingly difficult, even to myself, to justify all these lenses which are rarely used.

Here it is at f 11, 1/80th, ISO 100:

I have a beautiful, mint M42 version of this lens. I agree it's a great performer, and even though I don't use it much, I'm not going to sell it because it's a highly underrated lens that doesn't fetch much money. That's my excuse for keeping it, anyway
