Vivitar Lens Club - share the beauty

The 28mm beastiary thread (all cred to R Parmer) has been a great showcase for the 20mm to 28mm range of lenses marketed under the Vivitar name. That thread has examples of shots from several of the variants. The Series One lenses have a specific showcase thread but hasn't been posted to in a while (mods might like to modify this one or that one to widen the net.)

It would be interesting to bring all the other focal lengths marketed under the Vivitar name into a single brand specific thread.

This thread has been proposed for Vivitar images that the photographer enjoys for whatever reason - not just as examples to show lens characteristics. So how about this thread as a special place for all the Vivitars out there and lets share the great images that get made by these interesting optics of all focal lengths.

Possibly the thread could include the rebranded equivalents such as the Lester Dines and the Rokinons etc.

Vivitar 28mm WA Close Focus (Komine/ K02)

Crop from that series:

The Viv CF 28mm lenses remain among the last pure bargains out there, IMO.

Good idea for a thread!

All these from a Vivitar (Komine) 28mm f/2 P/KA on a K10D.

Lately I have used the K02 (Komine Close focus) as my 'standard lens" and have been thoroughly enjoying it. Examples:
From this

to this

to this

without changing the lens

Nice idea Arjay and probably a lot of folks being able to contribute. Your beach pics look so much nicer than the ice-age going on here, I enjoyed sitting on your beach for a moment :-)

@Georg - the 105 T4 is a very nice lens, I have the Soligor version, and had/gave the Vivitar version to a friend. Lovely pics.

This is the TX Auto Vivitar 28mm f/2.5, 37 serial = Tokina again...

Wasn't sure that everyone was too clubbed out but looks like a need as been filled. Great images all - great to see the versatility of the Vivitar brand - fantastic macros and evocative landscapes and studies - look forward to more.

Beautiful results - Vivitar was a true price/perfomance brand back when... and their ads were some of the best:
