So here I am, practicing. On brick walls. To find out how exactly the plane of focus can be influenced by tilting the lens, and by choosing the correct focusing distance.

This is the one where I wanted as much in focus as possible. So tilted the lens plane towards the wall. The full 8 degrees tilt. And then moved the camera to get things sharp.

And here you see the lens was tilted AWAY from the wall plane. You see that only a very small part is in focus. The rest gets a creamy out of focus look.
Now this is good to know. For example for taking portraits in distracting circumstances. More to follow!

Hi, GAS in action!
as K1 is on at service, K5 returned to my hands. K5 still give a lot of joy. Especially with 80mm f2.8 MC biometar Pentacon SIX /PK rubber shift lens.

Are there any other K mount tilt lens adapters with infinity focus besides ones for using pentacon lenses?

Yes, there are also options for Pentax 645, Pentax 67, Hasselblad, Mamiya ... I have a Mirex adapter for Pentax 645.

The Rokinon 24/3.5 tilt/shift remains one of my most-used lenses:

For these l used my Canon M50, Takumar 28 3.5, and Canon M-M42 tilt adapter. Tilting allowed me to get all of the car and coins in focus at f/8.

I got a SMC Pentax 67 'SHIFT' 75mm f4.5 lens many years ago with my original 6x7 MU model and did a lot of Architecture with it on Transparency film for Company Brochure for Commercial Property Auctions -- then LOST all that work when the Company went BROKE ! I used it the other day on a trip through my county of ESSEX here in ENGLAND taken by a great Camera Club / Flickr Friend and I used my 6x7 Mk II loaded with 07/2007 dated Fuji Superia 100 . When I applied Rising Front i gave it half a stop extra exposure. . I home-Processed in C41 and scanned with CANON 9000F Mk II BUT I got some 'Scanning Artifacts' -- not on the negs.
