Those shots were possible because I was sitting very low; the cows reacted...they were very curious and walked straight towards me...

my wife was standing near the fence

it was quite entertaining.....something like the Cow Whisperer

Went down to a local bird sanctuary to give my Sigma 50-500 a good run through. Here are some shots. It really is a nice place and I have been wanting to go for years. All shot with the K3 and Bigma on a monopod. Cross posted from the Sigma Telephoto Zoom Club.

I;m just not as experienced with panoramic landscapes as other kinds of shooting and this just slipped my notice as I took the original pics. Now if we could ever get a bright sunny day again I'll hike up there and take those shots for real.

There was sun and blue sky in the western direction, just not as dramatic a panorama, and you can see the improvement using f10. I used the same oversaturated development technique with Silkypix V2 film.

Thankyou, it really is a nice place. $5.00 to get in for the whole day. I was not able to hike all the trails in one day. Here are a few more shots.
