Even after falling into a pool, my 30 is doing pretty well. There is some residue on internal elements, and I have no idea what it looks like inside, but it works.

Don't think I've looked at this thread before, but a lot of good shots. I had some old ones that I never cared for in color from the 17-70 macro v1. Tried black and white PP in lightroom.

I picked up one of Sigma's 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 for a bargain price. Quiet HSM focus, decent speed in lower light, and nice IQ - also no size change, zoom and focus are done internally. Though it's not WR it definitely does not encourage water to sneak in It also has internal OS if you wish it.

Close focus goes to about 1:4 and results overall are quite nice.

ISO: 400
Exposure: 1/100 sec
Aperture: 5.6
Focal Length: 50mm

Sigma 18-125mm

My general purpose walkaround lens. In this case a trip to the Menai Straits to see the famous Telford bridge (worlds first big suspension bridge, 1826) with sis, bruv in law and nephew. I'm not missing the DA 18-135mm.
