Sigma 20-40/2.8 on K-1
Instead of sand crunching beneath your feet, imagine the tinkling sound of coral as you find the perfect spot to enjoy this remote beach. You won’t be competing for real estate here since access requires a 2km bushwalk from the nearest carpark; explorers rejoice!

To get there: Head towards Shute Harbour from Airlie Beach and locate the carpark on the left, just past the Harbour.

I posted a colour version of this in the Fuji X series club but I really liked this B&W version too.

Oh, yes! That lens really delivers, doesn't it?

It's a very good lens in terms of rendering and sharpness, and the close-focus ability adds a lot of flexibility. Where it lets itself down is resistance to flare, though if you harness the flare and put it to good use then it's possible to get great results.

Wondering if that is a custom-built car--never saw anything like it.

Chevrolet UTE, or Coupé Utility.

Came from the factory pretty much as you see it. Different wheels and tires. The hot rod stuff under the hood was added.

Otherwise, just as you see it.

Built by General Motors - Holden's Limited, Australia. Sold at Australian dealers.

This one was shipped to North America, and converted to left hand drive.
