GORGEOUS use of daylight and depth of field to show me something in a new light. Excellent idea.

"Mission to Mars" Mars over the Mission Dolores in San Francisco, CA. Wanted to give some love to my 28–105mm UCIII and its lovely starburst patterns at small apertures. Mars was in opposition last night, which is like a full moon, but a full Mars, instead.

Amazing! I saw this shot and without thinking about your caption it reminded me of Sam's Point (By the Ice Caves)... Wow sure enough!!!

PS - I do not know if you're a local there or not, but I strongly recommend a visit to Rough Cut Breweing Co. on Rt 44 = amazing food and very nice brews. Great folks.

Pretty close to Sam's Point. I need to go there too.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not a local but I'm planning to go more often next year.
