This is a heart my mother painted it for a charity organization. Their goal was to make enough money to do heart sugeries for people in need. They were around 25 hearts painted by known and unknown artist.

Very nice, esp the first one. Enjoy it while you can - I know I do when we get an occasional dusting!

Beautiful pictures! A little snow makes everything better. I guess as long as it's not too much snow

More DA 16-45, taken today.

Honestly, this lens is good enough for most of what I want to do. Other than low light and bokeh, and a little bit of tele here and there, I probably don't need anything else!

Just been back from a short trip to Krakow, Poland. Used my newly bought DA 18-135 WR. Found it really versatile, sharpness is more than decent even at the widest focal length. (Even if it needs to be stopped down at least a bit to perform decently, wide open at 18mm sometimes shows very soft corners, i' d say unacceptably soft, i'm even thinking there's something wrong with my copy, like decentering or something, but strangely extreme softness only appears in some situations wide open...who knows...)

A few fun shots at different focal lengths...

Couldn't resist getting out while it was snowing yesterday with the K3II and the HD PENTAX-DA 55-300MM ED WR f/4-5.8

A pano of 19 shots, cropped a little on LH and RH sides for better presentation

A few individual shots that made up the pano

Still DA 16-45, taken on Saturday after the big Atlanta snow. Big for Atlanta that is my co-worker from New York agrees that it was a "proper snow". So there.
