Neat carvings (and well photographed) - at first I thought of places like Norway and/or Sweden and/or Finland. Since you're from the Ukraine I'm guessing there's some cultural background that 'explains' the meaning or symbolism behind the carvings?????

You`re almost right. It is from Gdansk.

I'v seen those heads at Gdansk, they are everywhere. Haven't noticed them elsewhere at Poland.
