My 11-year-old son took this shot of Mt. Stapafell in Iceland with a K-30 and a humble DA18-55mm kit lens. Dad did help a bit with the B&W conversion. He was looking for something to print and hang in the living room with some other black and white landscapes.

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but are these geese photos posted upside down???

Not to take away from the images - I like them.

I looked and examined and magnified and came to the conclusion that they are upside down. The final clue for me was the OOF water at the top of the images and the rippled geese on top of clean reflections.

I find them brilliant.

Albert, I was basing my opinion on the fact that the geeses heads on the "upside" are rippled like the water and the "downside" heads are straight and "normal looking" while the water behind them is rippled. Maybe I'm upside down?? Been one of those weeks already!!

Thanks!
DINGDINGDING!

We have some winners!

Yes these are upside down. Intentionally. In looking at them on the computer, I flipped them over to see what would happen and I rather liked the disorienting, hallucinogenic result, so that's how I posted them. I was hoping that someone would see that I'd flipped them. Even better that they were enjoyed as such!

I'm going to start looking for this sort of thing.

My fingers are sloppy after celebrating the 39th anniversary of my 39th birthday a month or so ago. That's what I was trying to type ...
