Nice ones, Jani. It still looks a tad chilly up there!

This nicely shows off what the K10D's CCD sensor plus the sharp 16-45 zoom can produce!

Thanks! I've been neglecting the 16-45 lately, but I'm always pleasantly surprised whenever I bring it out

I dusted off the old DA L 55-300 lens for an assignment to shoot a ultra running race at high altitude on Saturday.
I was originally going to bring my new K-3iii and K-1ii but I needed to be able to backpack in to this location and camp the night before so the 14 pound kit was going to be too much with all the camping gear.
I decided to go all crop and get out my old original K-3 and this 55-300 instead of the K-1 and ff lenses save weight. It cut my weight by 4 pounds which helped but was still a heavy load for the 5 mile 3000' hike.
But it sure is beautiful up there. Those people are a little crazy to run 50 miles of this!
