Just having a look around an abandoned historic railway from the late 1800's near Sydney.

I would've liked to get a bit closer but the whole place flooded a bit over a month ago and was still pretty muddy and boggy. Had to settle for this.

DA 18-135 WR.

You may be a bit of a chicken, but the shot looks great!

I'll go back there in any weather with a pair of Wellies on instead of my new (for me ... moderately expensive) hiking boots.
When it rains a bit it looks like there'd be a waterfall on the right hand side so that'd be pretty cool.
When it rains a lot the whole cutting is 10ft underwater.

Here's another DA18-135WR from earlier the same morning.

2 friendly Cormorants having a chat at the beach.

I stand corrected, and IŽd like to see the waterfall sometime!

Bob

This is my dog, Bob. He doesn't like the camera, so the only way I was able to take this picture was using the DA 55-300, at 300mm.

Nice shots! Love that Frank Lloyd Wright house! I helped restore one in Detroit when I was a teen (mostly yard work).
