Wowza! I love these! Gorgeous B&W renditions Man, I want that DA 12-24 so bad - I'm eying my DA35Ltd. and wondering whether I can stand to part with it for $$. An impossible choice, cause they're both amazing lenses!

Ecaterin.. I've been working on my B&W conversions so I'm glad someone has noticed. The 12-24 is new to me so I'm just getting use to the FOVs it offers. I'm lucky enough to have the DA35Ltd as well and it's one sweet lens! Very versatile.. take a look at my post in the DA Limited Club thread here:

LOL - I was just over there commenting and recognized the building and realized that that had to be you again I find wide-angle to be a much more useful focal length than the 'normal' length that the DA35 represents on the K-x, but I'd kick myself for ever giving up the 35, so the 12-24 will just have to wait till the piggy bank fattens up a bit :P You're doing a lovely job with the 12-24 so far! Lets see some more

I'll be going on vacation at the end of the month to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Beijing.. I will definitely have some amazing pictures to post when I come back!

Also, the sakura (Japanese cherry blossoms) are in bloom right now in a park in Toronto so am planning to make my way there this weekend. Keep an eye on this thread eh!

Will do If any lens can capture the amazing delicacy of contrasts that make up cherry blossom pinks, it would be the DA35 or DA12-24. So far I have yet to ever see a cherry blossom tree photo that evoked the feeling of actually being among the trees themselves. A challenge for you!

I'm not sure of the exact street, but it was taken in Kowloon or Tsim Sha Tsui. It's near Nathan road. If you start to see a lot of Africans & Arabian folk you're close

It's a pretty good place for street photography around there. Good luck.
