A couple of summer swim lessons shots from the DA55-300, which I'm quite enjoying - very nice lens indeed Really nice contrast on this lens, even on overcast dreary days when the reflective water and sky try to meld into one featureless non-color. Certainly sharp and nicely saturated color.

300mm f/5.8 - my youngest & his teacher

55mm f/4.5 - my youngest shivering! air=50 degrees pool=80 degrees

150mm f/6 - my oldest, getting quite competent

Thanks! That's my daughter and she has been my favorite subject since I got my camera but it's getting harder and harder to get her to sit for pictures like that. She says it's boring.

A couple more from the DA50-200, which was still on my camera after the outing on 4th so I decided to give it some more love. Both at 200mm, f/6.7:

I don't think I've posted this one before...

Taken in November 2007 with my original K10d and DA16-45. Shortly after that I sold that lens to pay for the 16-50 (with the *).

A couple of shots from my "L" variant of the DA 55-300
1st shot @ 300mm Meerkat enjoying some afternoon sun!
2nd shot at 108mm "Wang-Wang" eating lunch!
A great lens for these shots taken at the Adelaide Zoo.

The 16-45 F4 is a great little lens. I was doing something you don't normally thing that it would be made to do, insect shots. I was very impressed with the sharpness and contrast of this inexpensive gem.
