Some test shots taken with the DA 16-45 the day i purchased it. Got it used for a nice price, overall i like it, even if i found out the auto focus to be very unreliable with my k200D ( which has no issues with other lenses ) especially when focusing at wide apertures and close to 16mm to relatively near ( not to infinity ) subjects. Some test shots i took at 16mm seemed extremely soft but if focus is adjusted either manually or by zooming in, locking then zooming back, they look fine.

Very nice series. Well done!

Sunrise at Khor Virap Monastery (Armenia) with Mount Ararat (5137 m / 16854 ft) in the background. By the irony of fate this highest and most famous Armenian mountain lies in Turkish territory, locked behind fence and closed borders.

Great picture. I think Mount Ararat is where Noah's ark supposedly sat after the cataclysm!

Thanks! It's a really nice and pictorial place. We landed in Yerevan shortly before midnight and went to Khor Virap directly to wait there for first sunrays.

Original variant DA 18-55 al (came with the ds i shot this with way back in 2005) revisited the conversion today. I think it's a decent enough lens
