Thanks KevinB123 and LensBeginner. The Rotterdam ceiling is, indeed, visually compelling. Perhaps it was designed in order to honor the Dutch artist, M C Escher, whose work it resembles.

Stick bug Girl

This is one of my former students who since I first met her when she was a 9th grader to just a month ago as she approaches 30 has always found stick bugs everywhere she turns. We were at a fascinating 800 year old indian ruin north of phoenix but what excited her was this very skinny stick bug! Happy memories.
