DA 16-45 F4 with K70

This week-end (after kitesurfing session), so sharp zoom

(The only drawback with this lens, as for me, is that the blues of the skies are something "poor" or not well rendered, I think)

Hi Scout

I have a 16 - 45 aswell and I find the richness of the sky colour is dependent on the position of the sun to your outlook.

Nice pictures.

Have you tried the addition of a Circular Polarizer (CPL) filter to help on the sky? (but losing a F stop)

Sorry for the late answer,
I should try indeed. It's true that in everyday use I don't take accessories with me. I think it's my best zoom lens, with very nice range (most of time at 16 mm !) but with old colour coating treatment

Thank you Yes you are right, the position of the sun makes a lot of variations ... (maybe the large front glass)

All wide angle lenses have the graded blue view. You can see the viewfinder shows it. The only sure solution is in post processing. On FF (so-called) a 28mm lens will clearly show it.
