I dug out the lowly Takumar (Bayonet) 135mm f/2.5 today to take a few pictures in the yard. It certainly has plenty of flaws, but I still really like this lens.

Seems OK so far. Even at f/1.7
Wow, very nice indeed.

I just got rid of my Tokina 135/2.8 so now my only 135mm prime for the K mount is the K 135/2.5. It's not a focal length I use much so no need to have an assortment.

Keep drifting back to using the 135mm Tamron Twin, the subject isolation pleases me. Few from the garden and local river bank.

Nice pic. 8)

I LOVE my Takumar bayonet 135/2.5! What would you regard as flaws?

I can hardly fault it, tbh

Great pictures!

My copy will show a lot of flare in the right circumstances. I don't mind flare as a general rule (my F 35-70mm, for example, is actually great for this), but it's about 50/50 whether or not I like the flare I get from the 135. That's really the only "flaw" for me.
