I have a much larger Meyer-Optik Gorlitz 400 mm F5.5 lens. My photos with it have always been excellent. For a 400 mm lens it has amazing FOV and DOF. I will have to find my photos and post them.
The crowd at the 300mm + club would love to see them ;~)

Here's one from my wife's old SMC-M 135/3.5 beauty, on the K100D.

I wonder how the A* 135mm F1.8 compares to the Voigtländer 125mm F2.5.
The Voigtlander SL125 is noted for its lack of CA (lateral and bokeh), however I have seen a direct comparison where the sample being tested did not match the sharpness of the A*135.

I have the K 135mm F2.5 which is a wonderful lens.
I love 135mm for candid portraits.
The K135/2.5 is indeed a great lens - I enjoyed using mine when I had it.

Today i went to print a couple of picture and, as i always do, i asked if they had some used pentax gear.
This time they didn't look at me like i was a martian saying how much more choice i colud have with canikons body and the answer was this:

Needless to say i was quite excited by it as it is in almost mint condition, but i managed to not smile at the offer and cut down the price quite a bit (100 euro for the lens + 50 10x15 print seemd a reasonable offer to me).
If this is really softer than the k135 f2.5 then that it's a beast of a lens...i mean this already is quite sharp.
This is the second 135mm f2.8 lens i got, the other one is an old Porst, just by judging 1 shoot i take outside the shop to test the lens it was obivious that the pentax lens was superior in everithing.
Now i shared only my LBA happiness, but later I'll post some picture of the Porst lens in action, about the Pentax one...i just didn't have the time to use it yet.

135mm lens club

LBA or what! I own the following:
super takumar 135mm f2.5
super takumar 135mm f3.5
CZJ sonnar 135mm f3.5(black)
Hanimex tele auto 135mm f3.5
Peerotar 135mm f2.8 20 blade (silver)
And my neighbour just gave me his Pentacon 135mm f2.8 15 blade in mint cond. The Peerotar is an awesome lens, marvelous Bokeh but I cant find any info on it,does anyone know about this lens? also is there any info on the Pentacon I was told it is not a bad lens. Some of these lenses will have to go but which?

Peerotar was a brand used by Peers Cameras, a US store chain.

My guess is that your Pererator 135mm lens was made by Fujita, an early Japanese lens maker that made lenses for a lot of brands. Post a picture of the lens!
