Pentax-A 135 mm f 2.8

Received my 135 mm about a week ago, and loving the rendering with my flower photography. EXIF seems to be showing this lens as 120 mm, and I have no idea why. Here a few early results.

For A series lenses the camera doesn't know the focal length so you have to tell it. When you turn the camera on it should ask for your focal length. It must have been previously set to 120 so turn it off, back on, and set it to 135 and that should do the trick. SR needs to know to work right although for SR 120 is probably close enough to not be noticeable in the images.

Taken with my Takumar Bayonet 2.5 at around 5.6 I think? I couldn't really see it.

Lovely lens with the right light. I need to get a polarizing filter and a longer hood for this thing.

More from the takumar bayonet 135mm, shot at f/8

I think I like it more than my Pentax-M 200mm for moon shots. This is essentially a 100% crop so judge the sharpness as you want.

Another shot with the Takumar Bayonet 135mm F2.5.

I ****ed up this shot because I forgot to set it to f14-f16 for an extremely big DOF, so sadly the palm is out of focus.
When I realized this it was too late to retake the shot. So what I did is exaggerate shadows in post to make it a silhouette.

This was a backdrop to a wedding I attended over the weekend. Beautiful spot!
Shot with my Leitz (Leica) Elmarit-R 135/2.8 adapted to K mount.
