Crossposted for most of these, shot them for WPD, but they're worth sharing.

I'm starting to actually like my 135mm - don't ask why, I used to hate this focal length.

Great shots, Jody. A couple of handsome youngsters you've got there. Children and their innocence are so precious. Thanks for sharing.

A lens with personality!

Oh my... I have enjoyed scrolling through the many many pages of this thread!

I absolutely love my (P/K mount) Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 leans. I picked it up from a forum member a few years ago for $25.00. Here are some shots I took this week...I think the effects are kind of special.

Beautiful pictures, every one of them, Tessfully! My favorite is that 2nd to last one. So delicate.

Today I found a Sears KSX camera with the Sears 135mm f2.8 non-macro for 30 dollars at a pawn shop. Should I go back and get it?

Beautiful set of images there Tess, that's $25 well spent in my book.

Thanks for commenting Christian! Yes, I would definitely scoop it up. It took some experimenting with the Vivitar before I understood its "needs" and now I just love the lens.

Thank you Kerrowdown! Reminding myself of what fun old lenses can be brings inspiration back.

Tess, I currently have Takumar f:2.5, 135mm and Sears f:2.8, 135mm lenses in my inventory that have seen little use, but your amazing photos are so inspiring, I'm driven to take them out and spend the entire day with them alone! Magnificent work. Stunning bokeh and composition. Thanks for sharing these wonderful images. Show us more!

Peace Froggy, I second Dragon's comment about the photo of the guitarist. Very nice composition and lighting. Great sharpness, too.

Welcome to our crazy bunch.
