The bokeh from the tak bayonet 135s are always so good. They're no f2s but it's still neat and really doesn't get busy. Such great value, even if they don't perform the best in bright sun

I find that the hood helps a lot. And you are right about the lens being a bargain... Mine cost me the princely sum of 34 dollars...

To me , its one of the most under rated lens. Its a must bring along lens for any travel and especially when ones goes to the beach.

This is our last Clematis of Autumn.This is minimum focus distance. The depth of field at max aperture is ridiculously
thin, as you can see from the crop. If I had an iris in focus on the model above, the eyelashes would be OOF.

This is wide open, handheld, with exposure compensation a stop down because of the clematis' bright center. K1&A*

This guy has been expending some extra energy lately growing in his new winter coat. A lot of eating and lots of sleeping. Typically when I try to take his picture he walks away. Tonight he just didn't care. The K-1 with the S-M-C Takumar 135mm f2.5.
