I can't confirm nor deny this.

But I don't want a flash with a metal hot foot. When something happens to the camera with the flash attached and one thing has to break, I'd rather it is the flash's foot than the camera's top.

I see many pictures on-line and it seems to have. I would just like it confirmed, preferably by someone who has one.
The 58 AF-1 does not. However, the upcoming Metz 58 AF-2 and Metz 50 AF-1 will. If this is important to you, wait a month or two.

I can already get the AF-2 but the extra 100 euros in relation to the AF-1 is holding me back. ......... There's an economic crisis at every scale
