I broke my foot! Well, the flash foot.

Murphy's Law was nuts yesterday! The foot of my Sigma 530 super broke after it rolled off the couch while it was attached to a folded up light stand. The mechanism still works but I can't attach it to the hot shoe. Will I have to send it back to Sigma for service or is this something that can be done by a camera repair shop?

I've read the horror stories about Sigma taking months to return repaired products but I'm hoping that it won't take as long for something like this which I would think is simply an accessory more than a component.

I appreciate the help.

No idea about the Sigma but the shoe of most flashes can be replaced easily once you obtain a new shoe from manufacturers.
