I want to get a set of wireless flash triggers. I see that people are having good luck with the RF-602, but I like the idea of using AAA batteries with the Meike MK-RC7. Will the MK-RC7 sync at 1/180th?

I can't speak to the triggers you mention, but I've shot several thousand pictures with Pocket Wizards triggering my studio strobes with no misses at all.
And yes, they work at full sync, unlike a lot of the less expensive ones that have fairly long delays and so need to be used at slower speeds.
They aren't cheap though.
Good stuff rarely is.
