Hello,

I am trying to find out what would be the best flash for k10d and weddings.

Is it Sigma or Pentax ? 360 or 540 ?

I have to consider price as well. I am looking for reliable and accurate flash, possibly used on k100d and k10d, swivel is advantage and wireless might be useful for future.

If the flash is wireless can I shoot it using k10d onboard flash?

Thanks.

Fero

For Pentax, P-TTL and wireless, AIUI, the choice is pretty much limited to the following:

- Sigma 500 and the new 530 Super (the ST doesn't have wireless)
- Pentax AF360 FGZ and AF540 GGZ (the 360 doesn't swivel)
- Samsung SEF-36PZF and SEF-54PZF (by all accounts, identical electronically to the Pentaxes)
- Metz 58 AF-1

The built in flash can be used as controller with the Pentax and Samsung flashes, not sure about the others.

I bought this one (click me).

I'll report how it works on my k100d as soon as I get it.

Over here in Albania we don't have to pay taxes if the total amount shipping incl. is less than ~$300.
