Flash book/guide you would recommend

Hello!
I am looking for a book/guide which could explain the basics about the flash to a beginner in that matter. If there is only one to buy, which one is it?
Thanks in advance.

Lighting 101 and 102 there. Read them and the blog. It has everything you'd ever want to know about using flashes and why.

Thank you Dave. I'm looking at getting a flash within the next couple of weeks as well. The link you have provided has more than helped me. Oh yeah, and the Point and Shoot article which was a breath of fresh air.

@ alohadave : thank you, it seems to be exactly what I need.
@ adpo : as you said, "if I got the money"! But who knows, if one day I have the means, I think it would be very interesting.

If you're not opposed to piracy there is a bit-torrent search engine where this dvd can be found...
Arias has a knack of explaining the complex in easy to understand manner that is instantly useful to your own photography...

I of course cannot condone the use of piracy in any shape or form...
