I tried to find the info for Focal M500C-Zoom on your list, and I couldn't find it. I even tried googling for a company called Focal, and it turns out there's no such company that produces Hot-Shoe Flashes like the one I have. Upon closer inspection of the logo next to the FOCAL lettering on it, it shows that it was "manufactured" by K-mart.

Googling didn't help much either. On your list, the sole K-mart subject had a rather high voltage, over 200v, so I'm afraid that this flash unit that I have may be useless for the K100D. I do not have a multimeter and I'm not sure if I know someone that does.

Yep, Focal is a Kmart brand. My "other" flash is a Focal M500t-zoom flash. The trigger voltage on mine is even less then my Sunpak 144d IIRC. But it has a much more powerful flash then the Sunpak. It's great for times when my Sunpak doesn't have enough punch to get the job done. And it has a true manual setting, unlike the Sunpak.
