k20d x synch

Hi,

Does anyone know what the k20D does when you are using the on camera flash with a flash in manual mode connected to the x synch socket? Is the on camera flash in P-TTL mode, and takes the picture regardless of what the external flash output is?

thanks

Yes. I don't think the built-in flash is even aware that there's something plugged in the camera's PC port.
