Compatible flash?

I have a K10d. I recently bought a Nikon SB-15 flash, primarily for use with another camera. This flash is TTL for some Nikons, the trigger voltage is about 4 volts, safe in Pentax terms. In addition two TTL it furnishes manual operation, and to stops for "automatic" operation.

Is there any risk in using this on my K10d? I know that the TTL wouldn't function, but would there be a problem with the automatic or manual mode? The flash is "pocketable" and would be a nice carry-along unit for casual shooting.

Thanks!

Many thanks, Adam. That was my thought.

My Promaster FD5200 with the Pentax Module has been wonderful with my LX and 645n, but of course it won't do PTTL. I've used it on the K10d in auto mode without worry (after checking its trigger voltage!) since it is "in the family," so to speak.

But the Nikon, being a foreigner, so to speak, was another matter.
