I'm experimenting with my Sunpak 30DX (same as 422D) flash in TTL mode on my *istD. The flash has an adjustable power setting (full, 1/2, 1/4, etc). Does this need to be set when using it in TTL mode? Also, does the ASA setting need to be dialed in? I haven't experimented with it enough to tell yet. Thanks!

The power level slider have no effect when using A or TTL modes.

The ISO/ASA setting needs to be set properly for the flash to figure the correct output.

Thanks, Dave. I was thinking that might be the case with TTL flash.
