Vivitar 2600D voltage?

Can anyone confirm that a Vivitar 2600D flash will be safe to use on a k-r?
I don't see it on the list Photo Strobe Trigger Voltages , but have seen some people claim it's under 6v.
Are all 2600D units going to be pretty much the same voltage?
I don't have any way to test it right now.

I suggest you measure your particular unit. Flash manufacturers change specs all the time. The voltage of someone else's 2600D may not be the same as that of yours.

Case in point: I had 4 copies of Vivitar 383. Their voltages range from 8.3 V to 230V.

I figured that's what I'd have to do... thanks.
Now to see if I can find a meter to use.
