Need advise for a cheap manual flash

greetings everyone, i am totally new to flash photography world and very interested in learning.

i did a lot of research on P-TTL flash and stuff.
while I think auto mode is great, I would still prefer a manual flash, main reason is for price and more unique customization.

since there are so many different brands with new and old flash guns, I think it would be easier to get advise by making a new post.
so I apologize if my question has already been discussed a million times.

I am mainly looking for the following function:

tilt and swivel head;
relatively "easy" to use;
can use as off camera flash;
ability to served as slave;
don't have to be very powerful/fast (mainly use on studio);
price under $100 if possible.

thanks for any of your advise/experience/opinions.

I believe the Yong Nuo 560II is a well regarded modern manual flash

Nikon SB-24, 25, 26, 28.

SB-25 is the best bang for the buck. There are a bunch of them for less than $100 from KEH.

SB-26 has built-in optical slave. Some people say in delay mode, it can ignore the p-TTL pre-flash strobe but that's not true (I had two copies of SB-26, just sold 1).

Metz 54MZ-3. It's a bit less common than the Nikon SB, however.

Metz 54MZ-4, but it's likely more than $100.

All of these have power ratio from 1 to 1/256 (except for SB-24, only to 1/16), and auto mode with plenty of settings.
