62mm lens with Pentax af160 fc ring flash?

Would like to find out if the Pentax AF160FC Ring Flash would work on a 90mm macro lens with a 62mm filter thread. Any help/advice appreciated.

Yes. It comes with a screw in connector for a 67mm lens so you will need a step ring to your 62mm lens. The other connectors included are all smaller than 62mm

btw - which 90mm lens has a 62mm filter?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have a Panagor 90mm f2.8 - recently acquired and I am learning macro.

You are welcome. I use a af160fc on a Tamron 90/2.8 with a 55mm filter thus my curiosity about your lens. Because the kit's closest connector is 58mm in my case, I too use a step-down ring just as you will. Works fine.

My apology, I listed the wrong flash in my initial post. I am looking at buying a Pentax afo60fc, the older model, not the newer af160fc.

So my question should have been will the Pentax AF060C work on a lens with a 62mm filter. I am hoping I get the same answer.
