AF540 trouble

Hi, I have 2 AF540's and both will only select A or M when put in wireless mode and slave setting, fine in master and control. I'm pretty sure they used to go to P-TTL, possibly I've changed a setting without realising, any clues?

Thanks

Make sure you are in the correct slave setting - there are two.

I'm new to using flash, but I seem to remember a procedure in which after you have your flash and camera set for wireless, you need to mount the flash on the hot shoe, turn both the flash and camera on, and half press the shutter button. This is supposed to register the flash to the camera for wireless operation.

This is just off the top of my head - the manual will of course be the place to look for the proper details.

Thanks Stan, it turned out they were on the wrong setting.

Glad you got it sorted.

And those moments you mention seem to become more frequent for me lately also.....
