Sigma EF 530 Super and high-speed sync

Okay, so I have my new flash. Everything works great with my K10D, but the FP mode for high speed sync seems to have no effect — I can't turn the shutter speed faster than 1/180th in Tv or P mode. Am I missing something? Thanks!

With my EF500, high-speed sync ("FP" mode in Sigma-speak) will not work with Auto-ISO. I believe that is a camera bug, but I have not been able to test it with a genuine Pentax flash.

I just tested my Sigma ef-530 super on my K100d, and in "FP" on the flash I can advance the shutter speed past 180th in Tv and manual modes. I know that's probably not very relevant for your k10, but I thought I would throw that out there anyway.

try setting the cam's Ev first and then turn the flash on. i know i have no prob using FP on my DS in Av with the 500 super
