Sunpak 120J and Qflash T2 Bulbs - Interchangeable?

I notice that the bulb for Sunpak 120J physically fits the Quantum Qflash T2. Do any of you know if they are interchangeable? At $30 a copy (more importantly, the time waiting for it) I hesitate to try.

Yes, they are interchangeable, at least according to Interlight:

-> Bulb for Sunpak 120J
-> Bulb for Quantum Qflash T2

Same part number, same specs, same price.

It's bad enough to replying to my own post. Now I have to correct my own post.

Nope. The bulbs are not interchangeable. This morning I installed the Quantum bulb (QF30) in the Sunpak. The ready pilot was on but "test" button did not trigger the flash.

Fortunately, besides my ego, nothing was damaged.

I had Norman, Lumedyne, Quantum T's and Sunpak 120J. While the tube plugs into each other they are not 100% compatible. Your experience mirrored mine. The generic part number of the tubes are the same, as well as the socket on the flash.

I needed to code the base of the tubes so my staff and I know which one goes where.
