2.4 ghz question for radio specialist

Is it possible that two different brands of flash triggers both using 2,4ghz could recognise one another?

It is certainly possible, however unlikely. Even if they operated on exactly the same frequency the signaling protocol would almost certainly be different. However, even if they have two different brand names they might still be made by the same company hence it is possible.

What brands are you looking at?

doubtful. Each has a different way of encoding the data.

It's like you speaking english and me speaking swahili to you. We're using the same audio "frequency" since we can hear each other but we're speaking gibberish to each other :-)
