YN560III what receiver?

I bought a YN560III, I have cowboys studio triggers but they don't work with the YN560II although they do work with the YN460II. I bought the Yongnuo Rf-603C because the seller said they were for pentax, of course now I'm reading that they don't work. So what do I use then?

I use the rf603N on mine, works fine. 603C triggers have a different pin pattern and won't interface correctly with your hotshoe. Cowboy studio triggers won't work with the built-in receiver but it'll work in manual mode using the transmitter/receiver combo like any other flash.

yn460ii does not have a built-in receiver like the yn560iii, so you'll need an additional receiver unit for it to work

I will piggyback onto this thread;

I just bought a YN560II and want to be able to use it off camera without having to trigger the built in flash on my camera. Will the RF603N allow me to do this? I am completely new to flash photography as you can see...

You'll need a pair, one for your camera and one for the flash. Be sure both transceivers are on the same channel, set the flash to M mode and make sure your camera's shutter speed is 1/180s or slower. When properly mounted, both green lights on the back of the transceiver unit should be on
