Metz 44 vs 48 vs 50?

HI folks,

Should I bite the bullet and get the 50, or are the other two acceptable flashes? My needs are pretty basic, so I'd appreciate some feedback!

EDIT: I see that the 50 is an upgraded 48. Is it worth the extra cash? It seems like the 48 can be had for a decent price.

What is acceptable to you, only you can tell. But you say that your needs are pretty basic (like mine) so perhaps the 44 has what you need:

When I bought mine, I downloaded some Metz manuals to see in detail, what features I would have/miss with the various models.
