YONGNUO flash 560III + radio trigger RF-603N

Hi,
I would like to use YONGNUO flash 560III together with Youngnuo radio trigger RF-603N (N = Nikon). Would these combination work with Pentax K30 and could I use a shutter speed of 1/180?

Is there a better flash and radio trigger combination?

Does anyone know about when the following radio trigger with LCD will be released and which price?
* CACTUS – Remote Manual Radio Flash & NEW V6 Transceivers Coming | FLASH HAVOC
* http://flashhavoc.com/yn-560-iii-remote-power-control-with-new-transmitter-coming/

Thank you in advance.

Mic

I use that same combination with my K5 without any issues, so the K30 should be ok too. It works great. I dont see any advantage for the cactus ones while using a manual flash. I am looking forward to the new trigger as well!

Thank you, but I found there is two types on RF-603, N1 and N3. I would be interested in N3, but I do not know whether it is compatible with Pentax K30. I would like to use N3, because I could use it on Pentax k30 (if it is possible) and Nikon d610.

Does anyone know whether RF-603N3 compatible is with Pentax K30?

Thank you in advance.

Why don't you wait for the "YN-560 transmitter"?

It will allow you to remote control the power of YN560-III flashes.

While you are waiting for the YN-560 transmitter, perhaps Cactus will release their new flash and V6. From experience, I predict that the Cactus flash and the V6 will be better than the Yongnuo combo with more functionality, better usability, and less quirks (that require workarounds on Pentax cameras).

Haven't heard a peep about the new Yongnuo or Cactus v6 power control triggers in a long time. I wonder what happened? I'm hoping they work well and are reasonably priced.

Probably a sign of not releasing before everything is right.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.

I was just suggesting that the RF603 will be outdated soon and by waiting a bit you could get triggers that allow to remote control the power of external flashes.

BTW, IIRC, I read someone recommending the 602 over the 603 for Pentax, but I'm not sure why anymore. It was about yet another quirk with the 603.

The N1, N2, N3 just indicate which camera control cable comes with a pair of transceivers. The actual RF-603N units are the same in each. I can confirm that they work with the K-30 and YN-560 III.

Another data point: the combo of YN-560 III, RF-603N & K-01 works perfectly, with no problem syncing at 1/180s.

Do you mean the RF-603C II? I haven't heard a case of the first-version RF-603C working on Pentax.
