Yes, except that the V6 aren't included yet.
Originally posted by bdery I personally decided on the new Godox (or Neewer) 850 and their triggers.
They are certainly very attractive.
You could run an RF60 with a battery pack to increase its stamina and reduce recycling times, but the Godox does it with less bulk and weight.
Where the RF60 / V6 have the edge is in usability.
The Godox has an external RF receiver which is a less compact solution than the built-in receiver of the RF60. For instance, you can slide an RF60 into its bag while the Godox won't fit with its external RF receiver attached.
More importantly, however, the V6 will allow much quicker control of multiple external flashes. It can deactivate individual ones (i.e., turn them off but bring them back with the previous power with a press of a button) and change the power of all flashes in tandem. Or adjust the power of a subgroup; all with a few button presses and turns of a dial.
The V6 can furthermore revive many existing flashes to also join the "remote control the power"-party, and has a number of more cool tricks up its sleeves.
I feel that of the
flash models I compared, the Cactus RF60 and the Godox V850 are the strongest contenders. The choice mainly depends on what one prioritises.
There is always hope that Godox will add a better trigger solution to the V850, but for the time being, the Cactus V6 is a lot more interesting, AFAIC.
N.B., the Cactus V6 beta testing phase is nearing its end. First reviews should appear soon.
