The YN560III is "universal" they work on Canon, Nikon and Pentax and maybe another brands, i have 3 of this flashes, with the 560III version you dont need the receptors just the transmisor, if you can, buy the YN560tx (transmisor) for Nikon is more expensive remote flash but you can control them individualy power and zoom . the RF602 also works fine, i use one of those before the 560tx, just buy the nikon version, the canon version may stuck on the hotshoe

I use one YN560TX(Nikon) paired with three YN560III with no problem on my Pentax K30, i believe the limit is 6 flashes.

The maximun sync speed will be 1/160s, as far as i known only the cactus V6 and his flashes (or his transreciever with P-ttl flashes) can be used with High Speed Sync and give you sync speed above 1/160 like 1/1000 1/2000 or more. I hear something with the Aokatec transmitters with HSS but im not sure about them.

I believe max sync speed on Pentax cameras is 1/180?
1/160 is max if you use a third of stop setting for shutter speeds (next third is 1/200)?
