TTL flash with a kr

I have an older Promaster 6500M flash, a TTL with manual setting, does anyone know if this is compatible with a kr?

TTL automation is not compatible, but manual setting should be, i.e. you set the shutter speed, aperture and ISO on the camera yourself matching whatever the flash can support.

However, you first need to check that the flash doesn't subject the camera to an overly high voltage through the hot shoe. Do a search on the forum and you should be able to find a post with a list of safe flash guns.
