Revue 280T flash?

Hi,
I just bought Zenit 122 camera "kit" with Helios 44M-7 and Revue 280T flash. As I can read somwhere, this flash is made by Pentax for german Revue and, as I can see, it takes 4 AA 1.5V batteries. Do you think it will fry my k-5ii?

test the trigger voltage yourself before proceeding. You can use it with manual settings on your camera

How do I do that? BTW, this flash has only one pin.

That flash is nothing like the Pentax 280T. Revue flashes can run 10 volts to over 230 volts. I would not use on a Pentax digital without an accurate voltage test.

You use a DVOM and place the probes on the center pin and the small metal tab tucked to one side of the flash foot. You then press the test button.
