I off camera flash for Pentax k50

Hi,

I just bought a flash was advised by some one to buy sigma EF610DGST it has functions like TTL MH and ML I am unable to use it as off camera flash which means I can fire the flash only on camera and not in wireless mode off camera am I missing something or it's just limitation of flash I tried all wireless setting and I doesn't work any guidance help answer would be highly appreciated

Someone misinformed you. There are two models:
