A few changes from last time. I adjusted the circle of confusion number on the spreadsheet to narrow the DOF. 70mm f8 4100mm 90mm f8 4500mm 100mm f8 4800mm. All 200 iso, bulb mode. Changed locations a short distance away, and the density was higher. The rpi board would reboot every so often after heavy shooting, I suspect I have another YN560II that is failing. Time to retire them all. Used three YN560III, one YN560II and one AF540FGZII, all set to manual 1/16 power.

There was lots of activity in close, so I think I will not use the 100mm and replace it with a 50mm and set the focus a bit closer in on all three.

This is the best yet.

I did a bulb mode -shutter open-three flash pulses-shutter closed attempt. The background was lit, so it softened the subjects, but this one is interesting. It is the same bat.

Getting closer. They were surprisingly close to the camera, closer than I expected, so this evening I will use a shorter lens and focus closer in.
